Why are we called DiVision31?

In construction information there are 50 divisions defined by the Construction Specifications Institute's Master Format. 

​"50 Divisions" is the most widely used standard for organizing specifications and other written information for commercial and institutional building projects in the United States and Canada

Division 31, Earthwork involves the manipulation of soils to facilitate construction projects.  Soil handling, placement, and enhancement are covered in this division.  Foundation preparation, special foundations for unique soil conditions and tunnel construction are also included in Division 31.

Fathers Day

Danny Petty was a linesman that found his passion in 1980 when he ran a Cat D7G dozer. By 1983 he had bought his first machine, a backhoe that he operated under the name Petty's Backhoe. By 1987 he owned a D7G of his own and grew into Petty's Dozer Service.
